I am a qualified lawyer with a master's degree in Law. I have been teaching Law at A level for over 12 years and I am a full time A level Law lecturer at a College in the West Midlands.
I have been teaching A level law at AS and A level to 16-19 year olds for over 12 years with exceptional results. My students tend to exceed expectations, with many achieving A- B grades in AS Law and A2 Law. I am also an examiner with many years experience with an exam board and I assess Law Making and The English Legal System, Tort Law and Criminal Law. I teach the new specification A level law which came into force in 2017. I also teach BTEC Applied Law and HND Law units.
My approach to tutoring is 'a little at a time'. I believe in consistent and systematic learning so that students learn all the principles and skills they need in a structured way. This allows students to learn without feeling too much pressure and also develop a love for the subject. I have found that this motivates students to become more dedicated and this eventually translates to excellent grades. Law is an interesting subject but rather heavy in content. Hence, my 'little at a time' approach.
I also offer free introductory lessons to enable prospective students decide if I am the right person for them. It also gives me the opportunity to provide honest advice on whether the progress/ grades desired is achievable in the time available.
I am currently taking enquiries from A level students studying the new AQA law specification.
