I'm a recent graduate from University College London (UCL) with a first class BSc in Mathematics with Modern Languages. At A Level, I received 100% in both my Maths and Further Maths qualifications, demonstrating both my attention to detail and my understanding of the exam technique required to do well.

I also received a distinction in my MA Law qualification. Although I enjoy pursuing many different things, my passions lie in both teaching and learning mathematics and modern languages, hoping to one day pursue a PhD in Mathematics and having a long-term goal of becoming fluent in as many languages as I can.

Tutoring Experience

I've had 10 years of continuous tuition experience with students ranging from those preparing for their 11+ and 13+ exams for entry into top private and grammar schools in London to students preparing for their GCSE and A Level exams in Maths, Further Maths, French and German. Additionally, I've taught university level mathematics to those studying maths as their degree or simply taking maths modules, helping them to fully understand difficult mathematical concepts. I have also worked with young people in the non-profit sector for over 10 years and have been running a creative agency for the last three years alongside my tuition work.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that it's very easy to get students to take control of their learning once GCSEs begin, as this is a milestone that begins to determine the direction of their life ambitions. Excellence comes with passion and repetition, which actually go hand in hand. As a result, homeworks will be regularly given out and marked very thoroughly. Being comfortable with your tutor is also important, which is why I offer the first one hour class/assessment at a discounted rate for those who commit to lessons with me going forward. As well as providing a tuition experience, I'm happy to help students with their assignments and prepare for any upcoming exams that they are worried about.
