I started with Jacob back in August 2019, with the intention to both learn the piano but from a composing perspective so it would help my music creation in electronic music. Jacob made the lessons fun and also challenging by teaching me techniques and music theory without sitting and repeating scales, or reading notes. Each time we also either create a new song, or build on a previous one increasing the complexity each time both in terms of technique and compositions. It's really helped to speed up my creative work at home, but also really giving me a push to continue with the piano to add that as a musical instrument to my skillset. I'd highly recommend Jacob for anyone else wanting to learn from this perspective.

I used to play the Steel Acoustic many years ago and daftly put it down and didn't pick it again until a few weeks back. God I've missed it! In the last few weeks having met and been taught by Toby I have found him to be an excellent Tutor. He is very patient and has the right skills to chip away the rust from fingers that have been idol. My bad habits on the Neck and Fret board are being remedied and my fingers are being exercised thoroughly. He is giving me exercises to practice out of class. Chords, scales, hammer ons, pull offs, etc. I am very pleased to be taught by Toby and look forward to my next lesson. He is somebody I would recommend with strumming pleasure.
