Information About Una - Cardiff teacher

Personal Description:

Una has been playing violin for over 12 years. She received her BMus (Hons) from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with first class honors in July of 2020, and studied under Cerys Jones. Alongside her studies, Una is a Montessori 0-3 teacher, participates in many outreach projects with her string quartet and is passionate about teaching and spreading the joys of music!

Tutoring Experience:

Inspired by her early music education, Una is now a Suzuki Association of the Americas registered Unit 1 and 2 teacher. She also has had much experience working with primary school children in the many visits she and her classmates have taken part in around Cardiff. Una is comfortable teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

Tutoring Approach:

Una's approach to music education is thorough and fun. Close attention is taken to good technique, but tuition will span a large variety of musical genres. She feels strongly about the importance of music as a form of self expression, and is happy to include music from her pupil's own interests as part of their studies. In combination with one-to-one lessons she would happily teach small group lessons with similar age groups.
