Information About Toni - Selby teacher

Personal Description:

I am a very experienced brass player and tutor with a degree in Music Performance (Euphonium) from Huddersfield University. I have worked with many of the Countries top brass band tutors and conductors and hold the solo euphonium seat with the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery band. In 2011 I won the best euphonium prizes at the British Open and Brass in Concert Championships. In 2006 I received the Mortimer Award from Huddersfield University for Brass Player of the Year.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught and supported teaching in a number of academic surroundings, from mainstream schools to Pupil Referral Units to Colleges. I started teaching brass to beginners over 20 years ago, whilst I was learning myself and would be confident delivering lessons to all ages and abilities and also those with learning difficulties / disabilities. I am able to teach all brass band instruments from Soprano Cornet to BBb bass, in treble and bass clef and have full CRB clearance.

Tutoring Approach:

I deliver music lessons in the comfort of your own home and can enter students for ABRSM examinations, aid with GCSE / A Level Revision or just help with general progression. I am very flexible in my approach and will happily work to any specification.
