This is how 2 referees rated Tim:
I am a self employed musician, passionate about making, teaching, and performing all forms of music. I am a proficient violin and guitar playing who will to pass on my knowledge to students willing to learn. I strongly believe that playing an instrument is not just about technical ability, its also, and more importantly, about communication and emotion. This involves understanding music and interpreting it your way… this results in maximum pleasure of the performer and listener alike. I happy to teach classical, folk, blues, country to get students started on their musical journey. Happy to teach all ages. I also teach music theory.
I have delivered many training courses in the past. I have much experience of teaching violin and guitar on a one-to-one level. I am also a peripatetic music teacher at local primary schools.
A friendly one to one approach, to understand the basics and get to a good rewarding sound as quickly as possible. I am happy to deliver lessons at your home or mine.
You can see some examples of the sort of pieces learnt in the violin and guitar beginners course by downloading the 'Return on Investment' document.
In these difficult COVID-19 times, I am also providing ONLINE TUITION to those who would prefer this method.
