Personal Description:
Tim is the Assistant Organist of Chichester Cathedral and an experienced teacher of piano, organ and music theory.
He has held his current position at Chichester Cathedral since 2010 having previously held organ scholarships at Carlisle Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral, and St John's College, Cambridge. He has wide-ranging performing experience as soloist, accompanist and conductor.
Tutoring Experience:
Tim is the Organ Tutor at the University of Chichester and teaches the piano at the Prebendal School. He teaches the piano, organ and music theory to students of all ages and has prepared students for exams ranging from Grade 1 to Fellowship diplomas. He teaches in central Chichester.
Tutoring Approach:
Tim responds flexibly to the individual needs of his students, but his aim is always to encourage self sufficiency and independent learning. His long term goal with every student is to make himself redundant.
