Information About Thomas - Bristol teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Thomas:
I am a graduate from the University of Bristol offering lessons in piano at all levels. I have both a teaching Diploma and all performance grades in Piano. I'm very friendly and approachable and I work exceptionally well with younger students - I am able to get the level of focus necessary to cover and learn all the important areas of these subjects and to ensure that any pupil is the most prepared they possibly can be. I also completed an A-Level in Music alongside numerous other musical exams and performances, and as such have well-rounded experience and skills of pretty much every academic area of Music. I can offer specific theory tuition, instrument lessons for piano or flute, and with GCSE and A-Level as well.
I currently teach multiple Piano students in Bristol from ages 3-40, and have helped pupils complete grade exams with distinction. I am now seeking to take on a number of new pupils of any standard.
I believe in giving pupils the tools to analyse and critique their own playing, and in motivating them to achieve the highest possible standard with sight-reading, scales and aural practice. We will learn not just classical pieces but those that the pupil will enjoy playing, and will use pieces as tools to improving overall piano standard. I am very open to all requirements or specific requests from students and parents - if you would like to take piano learning in a certain direction we can absolutely do so.
