Personal Description:

I am a professional musician and tutor, with experience in most styles of music.
I teach exclusively at the homes of my students in the Sutton Coldfield area.

Tutoring Experience:

I have more than thirty years teaching experience, tutoring people of all ages and experience.
I can prepare and enter students for ABRSM exams, (including the requisite Grade 5 theory), but am equally comfortable teaching people to play for pleasure alone.
I also teach keyboard.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an easy-going demeanour, am very patient, and employ gentle encouragement.
My teaching focusses on helping students to play the music that they want to play

I visit students at home, so that they have the advantage of learning on their own instrument… My hourly rate is £32, but most lessons are 30mins @ £16.
