Personal Description:
I am based in the Durham area and have had a been involved with music most of my life. At age seven I became a chorister at my local church before I became assistant organist. I then studied at Liverpool and Durham Universities.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught for twenty years in mainstream education and worked with children from age 4 to adults. I also have experience at teaching at university level. I am currently the Head of Music at a Sixth Form College.
Tutoring Approach:
Am happy to start where you are whether that is from scratch or if you already have considerable experience. I can teach classical music, pop music, or any other style. Happy to help prepare you for performance exams, and I am well acquainted with the GCSE and A-Level syllabuses of the main exam boards.
