This is how 2 referees rated Shelagh:
I am a graduate of The Royal Scottish Conservatoire and of St Andrews College of Education. I have performed with most of the North East of Scotlands Orchestras and ensembles and I am one of the founder members of The Dee String Quartet.
I have over 30yrs experinece of teaching violin and viola in both the state and private sector. I have rehearsed and conducted junior and senior string ensembles as well as chamber music groups.
I use convential teeaching methods based on Paul Roland.
I am a qualified Suzuki teacher and I very much enjoy the parent involvement that is required as part of this method. As this method is used from a early age and is an aural method it is essential that the parent is present in every lessson.
