Information About Shanyce - City of London teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Shanyce:
I am a university student living in London who has been playing the Piano for 16 years and violin for 13 years. I am originally from Bermuda and have been tutoring in Violin and Piano there locally for 4 years. I completed the Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations up to Grade 7 (equivalent to Grade 6/7 in ABRSM) in Piano and up to Grade 8 (equivalent to Grade 7/8 in ABRSM) in violin. I enjoy both instruments, have performed in front of the Lieutenant Governor of Canada in the violin and went on various local and international violin tours.
I am originally from Bermuda and have been tutoring in Violin and Piano there locally for 4 years. I have teaching experience for all ages, from age 6 up to age 16. My sessions locally are either a half hour or an hour long and I have received positive feedback frequently on my teaching.
My approach to music tuition is to structure the session dependent on time. For a half hour I usually focus on either working with the student directly on a piece of music they are currently working on and practicing that piece for most of the session. For an hour long session I usually devote up to 20 minutes practicing scales and technique, before focusing on a particular piece of music. When practicing I give practical tips for the student to use for practice outside of the session and focus on drilling aspects of the music they find difficult with set metronome tempos.
