Personal Description:

As one of the leading guitar and ukulele instructors in the Lanarkshire area, my lessons are open to anyone who wishes to study guitar. Whether on a formal educational format, or purely for leisure I am delighted to offer my professional services.
While specialising in electric guitar/classical guitar and ukulele, I have a strong versatile ability with a library of resources to teach all popular styles of both instruments to accommodate all students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been in the guitar teaching profession for nearly 21 years and fully registered with the UK’s Registry Of Guitar Tutors as a teacher of high experience.

Tutoring Approach:

The main objective in my tuition is to assist my students to achieve any goals which they have, whether this be for exam purposes or purely learning to play the instrument. But most of all having the enjoyment music has to offer in the process.
Over the past 21 years, I have prepared and presented many of my students for LCM (London College of Music) grade exams which have ranged from grades 1 to 8 + Diploma level maintaining a 100% pass rate.
I also offer advice and guidance to students who study music at school and offer the skills and material in order to comfortably meet the requirements for National 5s, Higher, Advanced Higher, and audition materials to gain entry to further education
