Personal Description:

I'm a friendly, and approachable musician living in Warwick. I've grown up with music all my life and work as a freelance singer and Music Therapist. I'm very approachable, welcoming and have had lots of experience working with both children and adults.

I have an undergraduate degree in music from The University of Manchester and a masters degree in music therapy from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. As a qualified Music Therapist, I bring my skills of relationship building and connection into my teaching practice.

I have over 20 years experience playing and singing and I'm very happy to teach singing, bassoon, piano, theory and aural.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 7 years experience teaching singing, piano, bassoon and theory and aural to individuals. I have taught them to achieve ABRSM grades, developed their singing voice and tutored children through theory and aural exams for school entrance tests.

Tutoring Approach:

I tailor lessons and my teaching approach to each individual. I believe that encouraging enthusiasm and love for music and their instrument motivates students to practice and strive to do the best they can. As well as making sure lessons are fun and engaging!

I consider myself to be very approachable and making sure students feel well supported and encouraged is at the heart of my teaching practice.
