Information About Sadie - Bristol teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Sadie:
I have a fully enhanced up to date DBS certificate and recent safeguarding and e-safety training through Bristol Plays Music, the music education hub for Bristol.
Since 2012 I have taught piano both in schools and privately. I lead whole class singing and ukulele sessions in schools and play guitar and synth in a touring band. One of my earliest memories is of the piano and I have played from a young age. I have Grade 8 Piano, an undergraduate degree in Music with First Class Honours and a Masters in Music with Distinction, both from Newcastle University. I have previously worked as a session pianist for bands and a touring theatre company.
I love playing as part of a band or ensemble and composing my own music.
I have taught piano since graduating in 2012. I have also taught small group and whole class music (Ukulele, recorder, singing) in schools since 2013 in London and Bristol. I have devised and led songwriting workshops in Bristol for adults.
Students of all ages and abilities welcome. You could work towards learning or improving a particular piece, working towards grades or maybe now is the time to start right from the beginning!
Lessons will involve technique and theory, introduce you to a diverse range of piano repertoire and can be catered towards your personal interests and goals. Each lesson will introduce you to pieces and exercises to practice during the week, which will help you to progress.
I am a patient and supportive teacher with experience teaching adults, teenagers, young children and people with special educational needs.
