Information About Ryan - Hove teacher

Personal Description:

I currently have a large roster of over 100 students every week I teach in and outside of schools. All my pupils that have entered their guitar exams have achieved a 100% pass rate with the average mark of a Merit. Fully DBS checked!

I am a graduate from the University of Chichester with a 1:1 in BA Music (hons). I am a friendly, calm and honest tutor who works within the areas of Brighton and Hove. I have been playing guitar for 16 years and have a large amount of experience writing, recording and performing in a band. We have performed in venues and festivals up and down the country, been featured on BBC radio multiple times and have even performed with a 30 piece orchestra.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been practicing as a peripatetic guitar tutor in and outside of schools for 2 years. Privately I have been teaching for 5 years.

Tutoring Approach:

I will take you through all the basics of the guitar and build strong foundations of technique, theory and musicianship from which you can build upon. I will design your own personal progression plan tailored to your individual needs.

I will take you through grades 1-8 on your chosen discipline (grades 6-8 count as UCAS points), this is a great way to track your progress and have something to show for it!

If the ultimate goal is to play in bands and perform live then that is something we will be able to work towards and I can guide you on how to get started.

I can also guide you and provide you with all the tools needed to begin composing your own music and different ways you can innovate and create something totally new and unique!
