Information About Ruth - Llandudno Junction teacher
I love music and enjoy sharing it with the world. I am an active member of the Conwy community and voluntarily co-run Conwy Ensemble for amateur musicians and Hope Club, a youth group for children aged between 7 and 11.
I was first inspired to play the violin at the age of four when a string quartet visited my Primary school and performed 'The Wombles'. I went onto performing in orchestras on a County level after successful auditions. In 2002, I read music at The University of Liverpool and was also an active member of the orchestra, becoming Orchestral Manager in my second year.
I have 10 years instrumental tutoring experience. My background also includes working in youth groups, individual tuition, and teaching the ukulele to primary students in South Sudan, Africa.
Music should be fun and I aim to make lessons enjoyable for my students. Everyone learns differently and as a teacher it is my job to adapt to the individual needs of my students in order to bring out the best in them. I am happy to teach all ages on a casual basis or through the forum of exams.
