Personal Description:

£12 for 30 minu**Contact Detail Removed**ssons. I teach individual guitar tuition for children - enjoyment only with no exams.

While studying to be a primary school teacher I tutored guitar from home and have continued to do so within my career break bringing up two daughters. I have watched children of all ages and abilities become happy and confident while learning guitar, enjoying being part of their journey.

Tutoring Experience:

I have current references from parents whose children have enjoyed their music lessons with me as a hobby or to earn Cub and Brownie awards, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme or school projects. I have taught at school and home; now my attention is focussed on the one to one approach. I find this leads to steady progress in learning the acoustic guitar.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach individual tuition for enjoyment only with no exams. We build up a songbook of favourite and familiar guitar music together within an informal setting. I offer Bite Size lessons for little ones. I accept students over the age of 12 years when spaces allow. I teach chord knowledge, finger style and music appreciation. You are welcome to have a free taster lesson and I have guitars you may borrow. Advice given on the most suitable guitar for your child.
Children are welcome to come for 30mins @ £12. I take older children for one hour if they are comfortable with that time and can adapt lessons to suit an individual.
