Information About Rose - Bath teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Rose:
I’m a trained primary school teacher and a cellist, with a particular passion for bringing music to children from a diverse range of backgrounds. I strongly believe that every child should be entitled to good quality, wide ranging musical experiences from a young age. I enjoy a wide range of music genres, and have been privileged enough to have played in bands, orchestras and chamber music groups since I started playing the cello at 8 years old. In my spare time I enjoy going on walks in wild places with my partner, baby daughter and our dog, and listening to records at home whilst drinking tea.
My lesson prices are as follows:
£20 for 30 minutes
£25 for 45 minutes
£30 for 1 hour
£40 for 1.5 hours
I also know from my own experience as a student that taking time to find the right teacher is really important. With this in mind I offer every new pupil a 30 minute trial lesson for £15.
I have been teaching the cello and piano for four years and have taught beginners up to Grade 8 on the cello, and up to Grade 2 on the piano. I've taught children as young as four, teenagers and adults alike. I am also a trained Primary school teacher - I taught for two years as a Nursery class teacher and then for another two years as a freelance music teacher in primary schools in London.
I am a firm believer that learning music should be a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I endeavour to foster a real love of music in my students, and incorporate a lot of general musicianship into my lessons. I have successful experience of preparing pupils for ABRSM and Trinity exams, but I am equally happy to teach pupils who just want to have fun.
