Information About Rory - Manchester teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Rory:
I am currently in my final year of undergraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Next year I plan to study a Masters degree in performance on clarinet. I have enjoyed playing clarinet from a young age gaining my diploma when I was 16. I began studying the guitar at the age 7 and have played in bands on electric as well as achieving my grade 8 on classical (Spanish) granting me the ability to teach in both styles of playing.
Besides music, I enjoy playing rugby with Manchester Rugby Club as well as being an avid sports fan.
I am also able to travel as i own my own car .
I have experience teaching both children and adults of all levels. Recently I have had the opportunity to teach young beginners as part of a community project. In addition to teaching guitar and clarinet I have also given music theory tuition.
Making the lessons fun, engaging and valuable is my main objective whether the pupil be working towards a grade or playing as a hobby. I tailor each lesson to the individual in order to help them reach their potential.
