Personal Description:

Richard is an international musician of high standards, playing the length and breadth of the country and overseas, Richard is at home at kids events, weddings, corporate parties or any other occasion, fitting the music and the vibe to the time and place. Richard has won North East Keyboard entertainer of the year in 2018 and 2020, things went from strength to strength, Richard now attends Sunderland University studying B.A. Music.

Member of the musicians union with current public liability insurance.

Richard tailors his musical sets to create the feelings the public wants, whether that's a rush of excitement, giddy highs and bone-shaking lows for any event on a weekend night, a warm and relaxing chill-out session for a midweek wind down, cutting edge tracks for the innovation hungry or more familiar classics for those simply seeking a good time.

Having taught himself to play organ, piano, keyboard and brass, He is now going for ABRSM. Richard enjoys playing live music in a variety of styles . He considers himself lucky to call the North East home, having not only the considerable heritage of Durham city to draw on but also the styles from all over the world having had experience in New Zealand and Australia that have fed into it over the decades, as well as the music culture of the western culture.

This experience of many musical cultures over his time in the music industry, The Yamaha has given Richard a new and truly broad palette to work with while curating your perfect night of music.
