Information About Rachel - Cromer teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Rachel:
Based in Norfolk, UK, Rachel teaches violin to students of all ages and abilities.
Rachel has experience in group lessons within schools, arts centres and private tuition for both adults and children… Rachel’s skills and experience working with children (particularly those with special educational needs) make violin playing accessible to as many individuals as possible. Rachel uses Stringbabies Method teaching for children aged 4-6 years.
A range of study methods that are carefully chosen to suit the musical development and goals of individual students.
Students have the opportunity to take graded assessments as part of the learning process. Less formal assessments and pre-grade 1 assessments such as ABRSM Music Medals are also available. These are not however a compulsory part of learning the instrument. Other ways in which progress can be measured include taking part in concerts, playing within a group or ensemble, as well as simply gaining the ability to play with increased musicality.
For adult learners, once essential playing techniques are developed and a reasonable level of fluency is mastered, lessons can include elements of folk or jazz violin.
