Personal Description:

My name is Penny, and I am a fully qualified piano teacher with a deep passion for piano teaching and performance.

As a concert pianist from a young age, I have gained valuable experiences that I am excited to share with my students. My career has included solo recitals across the world (UK, China, Austria, France, Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Greece), collaborations as a soloist with symphony orchestras, and first prizes at international piano competitions such as the De Bach au Jazz Piano Competition in Paris and the Yamaha Foundation of Europe Competition in Athens.

Tutoring Experience:

My teaching experience includes tutoring in schools as well as giving private lessons and masterclasses. I have successfully guided students through graded exams (ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool), GCSE and A Level Music, piano diplomas, concerts, and competitions. I particularly enjoy organising music events and assemblies, and I am dedicated to teaching students of all ages and levels — from enthusiastic beginners to aspiring professionals.

I love bringing my passion for music into the lessons and exploring the exciting possibilities the piano can offer.
My approach is friendly yet motivating, helping students achieve their full potential in a positive environment. Developing musicality and creativity, building self-confidence, strengthening fundamentals, and applying music theory in practice are some of the key skills developed in the lessons.
