Information About Pedro - Glasgow teacher
I graduated from Superior School of Music in Porto and moved to the UK to study at the Royal Northern College of Music where I finished my PgDip(Distinction) in 2005 and a Masters(Distinction) in 2006. I then moved to London to do a Postgraduate Diploma in Orchestral training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Currently I am writing my PhD at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland-University of St. Andrews.
I am a freelance trombone player based in Glasgow, playing with some of UK and Europe's leading orchestras including BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, RSNO, Scottish Opera, Gulbenkien Orchestra-Lisbon, Portugal, Porto National Orchestra-Oporto, Portugal, Orchestra Sinfonica Galicia-Spain, European Union Youth Orchestra.
I have been teaching for many years including being a full time tutor of trombone at the Regional Conservatoire of Castelo Branco in Portugal and part time tutor of trombone at the Junior Department at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
I have the experience as a player and as a teacher to help you with your technique, styles and build confidence, as well as, prepare for exams, auditions or concerts. I teach all ages and levels and
