Personal Description:
I’m a musician and peripatetic music teacher based in Salisbury, UK.
I enjoy playing classical music and perform jazz guitar music in a restaurant in Shaftesbury on a regular basis.
In 2018 I spent 2 months in Central America as a cruise ship orchestra guitarist.
Tutoring Experience:
I’ve been teaching the guitar since 2016, both privately and at private schools in Salisbury.
Tutoring Approach:
My goal is to help young people learn contemporary music styles and often to guide them towards taking graded music exams.
The RSL Rockschool is a fantastic system that encourages young people to learn popular songs by artists like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift while also providing a solid basis in the fundamentals of guitar playing, with each grade requiring them to learn a mix of scales, chords and performance pieces.
I teach electric, acoustic and bass guitar and I have a 100% pass rate.
I also teach classical guitar and can tutor students through their ABRSM graded exams.
