Information About Oliver - Salisbury teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Oliver:
I've been playing the guitar for 25 years including experience as an orchestra musician on a cruise ship: a challenging gig that requires a good knowledge of many different styles and strong sight reading abilities. I offer structured lessons that take students through folk chords in the first position, barre chords, scales, and from there, along a path dictated by the student’s interests and abilities. This can range from; equipping the student with the skills necessary to write their own songs; a study of the blues rock genre as exemplified by the likes of Eric Clapton; acoustic blues in the style of Robert Johnson; jazz guitar and the art of improvisation; delving into the classical guitar repertoire and learning how to perform from sheet music.
I am able to help students interested in studying towards grades 1-8. I also have an enhanced, up to date dbs check enabling me to work with children.
I can offer a reduced rate outside of my busy hours which are between 16:00 and 20:00 during the week and 9:00 - 14:00 at the weekend.
Please do get in touch for any further info. I look forward to hearing from you.
