Information About Niomí - Forest Hill teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Niomí:
After playing piano and singing throughout my childhood and teenage years I gained ABRSM grade 8 piano alongside grade 5 Voice and Music Theory, whilst performing in local hotels and functions as a pianist. I was able to attend Goldsmiths College to study Popular Music where I gained a 1:1 and expanded my skillset as a musician, songwriter and artist. Although I started off learning classical music, I enjoy writing, playing and teaching a wide range of genres and I also have an Estill voice qualification. I now split my time between teaching and performing regularly as a solo artist.
I have been teaching piano, keyboards and singing for the past 6 years and have a broad knowledge of teaching both children and adults in individual and group settings. I have also worked for Soundsteps Music School, The SE22 Piano school and am currently expanding my teaching knowledge as a student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. My experience ranges from teaching very early beginners the basics (my youngest student was 2.5 years of age!) to helping students prepare for ABRSM and Trinity graded exams. I also help students who wish to prepare for an audition of performance or who simply want to have a go at trying something new.
I firmly believe in adapting my approach to suit the needs of each individual student and aim to make each lesson as enjoyable and productive as possible so that we can work together in achieving whatever goal a learner has in mind.
