Personal Description:

I am a music graduate from London Centre of Contemporary Music. I have a modern approach to music in that I believe music lessons should be something the student looks forward to, not dreads, therefore I try to make learning fun.

My specialism is in piano and keyboard.

I also teach jazz theory.

UPDATE: All my classes are now taught via online platforms such as Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp. I am still taking on new students. Please contact me for further info.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over a decade of experience in private music tuition. I am comfortable with teaching children of various ages and adults.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to make my lessons fun. I believe that a student will retain more knowledge and make faster progress if they are enjoying their lessons.
My lessons are individually tailored to each student according to their skill level, learning style, learning objective, etc. Lessons will be taught in a relaxed and stress free atmosphere and will progress at a comfortable pace for the student.

By chance I found Nicola and she has transformed my daughter’s relationship with the piano. She has such an encouraging and thoughtful approach. She makes my daughter want to learn. She is fun and innovative but also grounded in technique and is a very knowledgeable pianist herself. I can’t recommend Nicola enough.
