Information About Ned - Surbiton teacher
This is how 3 referees rated Ned:
My name is Ned and I've been playing guitar for 13 years, both at home and professionally. I grew up in the music-orientated city, Brighton, where I began playing Blues, Funk and Soul guitar, influenced by the greats such as Eric Clapton, B.B King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others!
At the age of 18, I trained on the Actor-Musicianship programme at London's Rose Bruford College, where I honed my craft on guitar. Since graduating in 2015, I have worked professionally as an actor-musician, performing in theatres around the UK and in London, alongside many other great musicians.
The times I haven't been in gigging or in a theatre working, I've spent my time teaching students of varying skill levels. So whether you are a complete beginner, or you'd like to brush up on your existing playing, I'm able to adapt to your needs!
Although I learnt the guitar through playing styles like blues, funk and jazz, I have an eclectic taste in music - so whatever excites you, we can play it! Maybe you're a complete novice and would like to learn to play some of your favourite songs? Or maybe you have a good existing knowledge of the guitar but would like to improve your improvisational playing and knowledge of music theory? Most importantly, I want to make sure you have fun in the lessons and stay inspired by the wonderful world of music making!
