Personal Description:

Teaching in Piano Natalija teaches piano from beginners to advanced students both online and at the students' home. She offers graded exams (Trinity College London and ABRSM). In her piano lessons, she focuses on technical aspects, such as posture, finger strength, movements, and articulation. Technique will always be taught in relation to existing pieces. In addition to that, she will focus on expression and interpretation, as well as on notions of music theory and aural exercises, as integral part of a performance. According to the level of the students and to their purpose, each lesson will start with a warm-up (depending on the genre, normally scales or aural exercises) and it will be followed up by technique exercises and the performance of the pieces. The last part of the class will be dedicated to the review and assignments.

From Steven (5/5): I feel inspired! I've only had one lesson so far but I walked out a much better piano player than I walked in. She has given me particularly useful feedback, some challenging but useful technical exercises to improve my technique and I am already tackling a Chopin prelude rather than the beginner pieces from a tutor book. This suggests she has both a really good sense of what might both challenge and motivate me and knowledge of exactly the piece to work on that will develop the aspect of my technique that needs work. I can't wait until next week.
