Information About Nezhda - City of London teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Natalie. I have graduated from a music school about 5 years ago. I majored in Piano.
I am a huge fan of classical pieces, which I mainly focused on back in music school.
Some of my favourite pieces include, Chopin Preludes and Waltz, Rachmaninoff Etudes and Tchaikovsky Four Seasons.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching music for over 4 years . I have experience with very junior and senior students from very different backgrounds. I am flexible in teaching in English or Russian.

I am very comfortable teaching both classical pieces and more commercial compositions. Depends solely on my student's preferences.

Tutoring Approach:

I usually prefer combining Solfeggio, Piano practice and a bit of Music Literature during my classes. My goal usually is to provide students with the most sophisticated and well-rounded music knowledge, which not only includes piano techniques, but also understanding of different music genres and styles.

I introduce my students to various music compositions and composers through listening to various styles including, etudes, nocturnes, mazurka, march and etc.

However, I prefer to initially discuss the structure of each class with students in order to tailor it to their needs.
During my classes I provide the instrument (piano), piano sheets, piano books and piano notebooks. Everything a student might need.
