Information About Nandita - Hampstead teacher - (1 review)
This is how 3 referees rated Nandita:
With over 9 years experience teaching violin, piano and music theory to children and adults of varying ages and abilities, I am a patient, reliable and passionate teacher, and I strongly believe learning music should be a positive and enjoyable experience. I run a successful private studio in Hertfordshire, as well as teaching violin to children at a South London primary school. Alongside teaching, I am a professional violinist, performing across the UK and beyond with orchestras in and around London, as well as with my string quartet.
I've had considerable experience teaching violin, piano and music theory to children and adults of varying ages and abilities, including young children (age 3 upwards), adult beginners, students taking ABRSM exams, children with learning difficulties, and adults returning to the violin after many years.
I aim to make my lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible, whilst ensuring I give my pupils a good technical and musical foundation from the very first lesson. Exams can be a great way to encourage children to focus and work towards a goal, giving a sense of acheivement and accomplishment, and with a 100% ABRSM exam pass rate, I am happy to take my pupils through the graded exams when they are willing and ready, as well as those who simply want to enjoy playing and learning music as a hobby.
I tailor lessons to suit the student's age and ability, and offer hour and half-hour lessons, at £40 per hour and £25 per half hour. I teach from my home, where parents are welcome to sit in the lessons, although may be able to travel to a students home depending on location…

My Son used to hate playing the violin, but since he gets lessons from Nandita he loves the violin once again. Nandita understands very well pupil's needs and use a different materials and methods for the best approach.
I would like to recommend her to anyone indeed.
