Information About Molly - Liverpool teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Molly:
Personally, I was classically trained, achieving ABRSM Grade 8 Singing at 16 years old but I changed my discipline to popular vocal performance when I started my BA in Music/Popular music and achieved a First Class (Hons). I have been singing professionally since I was 16 and in the last few years have sung in venues around Liverpool. I also hold ABRSM Grade 8 French Horn and Grade 5 Piano, and have recently completed an MA in Music Industry Studies, for which I was awarded a Distinction.
I started teaching in April 2018, and have experience with beginner through to professional skill levels. I teach a range of musical styles including musical theatre, pop/rock and classical and have knowledge of the LCM, ABRSM, Trinity and RSL examination boards. I have an 100% pass rate for all students entered into exams and I have experience teaching and assisting GCSE and A-Level students.
In my teaching I ensure a long-term plan and goal is determined with students at the start of lessons which is reviewed and adapted when necessary. In addition, I ensure that each individual lesson is planned to best suit a student’s needs. Motivation is a key aspect of lessons that I try to maintain through chosen repertoire, I ensure that repertoire is appropriate for the age and skill level of a student but is also to their taste and musical preference.
