Personal Description:
I am an active professional opera singer. I was born in Bulgaria and after graduating from the National Music Academy in Sofia I worked as a soloist at the Sofia National Opera.
Subsequently I moved to Milan where I studied further with one of the most distinguished Italian teachers.
I represented my home country in Cardiff Singer of the World, and have lived in Wales since 2002.
During my free-lance career I have performed on opera stages and concert platforms world-wide with companies such as Sofia National Opera, Monte Carlo Opera, Opéra Nationale de Paris, and ROH Covent Garden.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught in Italy, Germany, Bulgaria and Wales. I am fluent in English, Italian and Russian, and teach in Cardiff in a large room with a grand piano. All kinds of aspiring classical singers are welcome.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that each voice is a unique instrument requiring special care and training. I have an individual approach to each of my pupils, which is based on the traditional principals of the great Italian bel canto technique.
