Personal Description:

I am a West End actress and singing teacher, I specialise in Musical Theatre Singing for beginners and intermediates! My recent stage credits include Be More Chil (Shaftesbury Theatre), The Rocky Horror Show (National Tour), Footloose (National Tour) and many more. With a degree in Musical Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting one of the UK's leading performance conservatoires, I specialise in Musical Theatre singing technique, acting through song and have over 9years of Professional teaching and performance experience.

I am also a singer-songwriter and have worked with numerous artists and producers, and am the lead writer and band member of electro pop group Arroh. As a band we have performed on national tours and our tracks are frequently featured on BBC radio.

Having a diverse set of skills I can cover anything from Pop, Folk, Alt, Rock to the wide variation of styles under the Musical Theatre umbrella.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a lot of experience tutoring a variety of ages from 6years to 18years, and specialise specifically with pupils within in this age group. Across the past 9years I have previously taught one to one tutoring for Singing, Acting through Song, Acting and Guitar. I also have a wealth of experience teaching masterclasses for schools such as Stagecoach, PPA, Front & Centre and West End Musical Theatre School. I have a fully up to date enhanced DBS.

Tutoring Approach:

As previously mentioned I specialise in two different sectors. The first teaching Musical theatre Singing techniques which covers a variation of techniques learned through my professional training and experience.

Having lots of experience teaching children and young adults across the years I take great care to adapt my approach to the personality of each pupil and work hard to find the best approach to achieve results. We will work on strengthening the voice with vocal exercises, and then pick an appropriate piece each week to integrate techniques learned. With musical theatre students we will also cover acting through song, and with older students audition technique.

Within the pop sector my approach is individual to the artist, again with an emphasis on strengthening and improving the voice through exercises, techniques and working through relevant songs, however with these pupils there will be more emphasis on tonality, style and finding their sound. We can also cover songwriting in these sessions if of interest.
