I was born in the UK (Kent) but spent most of my life in Wales. I currently reside in Swansea. I have a passion for teaching the saxophone but also like to teach music theory.
My teaching experience spans over 30 years. During the last 11 years I have taught via the medium of the Internet. I teach Saxophone online and Music Theory. The majority of my teaching is in the UK but I also teach students in Australia, USA, South Korea, Singapore and India.
I work part time for the Carmarthenshire music service as a peripatetic woodwind teacher and also specialize in teaching Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and London College of Music Popular Theory (LCM). I gained an ABRSM performance diploma (DipABRSM) in 2008
Lessons are usually scheduled for half an hour (£15.95) but I can teach for one hour if preferred. I have been teaching privately for many years and also have experience as a peripatetic teacher. My aim is to make your learning experience as enjoyable as possible. All students have different needs and goals so lessons are structured at a pace and style to suit the individual. I can teach from beginner level to diploma and also provide theory tuition if required. Full enhanced DBS.
