Information About Max - Birmingham teacher
This is how 3 referees rated Max:
I am based in Birmingham and work equally as a teacher and performer.
My instrument specialities are Flute (classical), Whistles and Recorders, and the huge array of Global Woodwind instruments (from Bamboo Flutes to Bagpipes and everything in between) that are one of my many musical passions.
I have a great enthusiasm and love for music and bring this to bear in my teaching and playing.
-Have taught for 20 years to primary age, secondary age and adult pupils.
-Have taught one to one lessons, group/whole class lessons and bespoke workshops.
-As well as private lessons, throughout career, have taught for; King Edward VI School for Girls (Birmingham), Staffordshire Music Service, Telford and Wrekin Music Service and led workshops for Birmingham Youth Folk Band.
Having taught everyone from the casual learner through to the Grade exam driven pupil, I make sure my teaching is tailored to the goals, tastes and aspirations of each pupil.
As lessons begin and then progress with a pupil, I always endeavor to find the approach that works best for them whilst constantly within and alongside that ensuring that the essential aspects of musical and technical progression and development are taking place in their playing.
I am fully set up for online teaching using Skype, Zoom or FaceTime, and am of course very happy for parents or guardians to be present in the room during the lesson. Any further aspects of technical or safeguarding issues related to online lessons can be discussed and accommodated with ease.
