Personal Description:
I enjoy teaching piano, performing, accompanying and generally music making.
Tutoring Experience:
I have many years of teaching experience, from beginners to advanced students. Pupils do need to practise, so I endeavour to make
the lessons enjoyable and inspire enthusiasm to practise.
Tutoring Approach:
I do not have a standard approach to teaching piano. I like to get to know my pupils and then decide the best route.
Everyone learns in different ways. I am happy to teach piano for fun, or to enable my pupils to take exams. Again, depending on the pupil, I consider which board is best for them to follow, Trinity or ABRSM. I like to hold informal concerts and encourage eveyone to
take part, whether playing a solo, or perhaps a duet with another pupil.
