Personal Description:
I am currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, both Piano and Harpsichord with Fortepiano. Next to being an active performer (I have been giving recitals in England, Poland, Russia, Italy, France, Canada), I have a great passion for teaching, as well as music theory. I have given lecture-recitals at the Finchcocks Musical Museum and at the Royal Academy of Music Museum. I speak fluenlty in three languages - Polish, which is my native, English and German. I am an enthusiastic person, full of love for instruments and music, with a good sense of humour. Well-mannered, punctual and eager to make most of each lesson I give - or take.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been a teacher for 4 years. I have a wide experience with children (aged from 3) and adults as well. For the last year I have been working as an Au-pair for a family in Hampstead, London, where I was teaching children piano, violin and music theory as well as taking care of their general knowledge on the subject. I was also helping them with school homeworks, what let me understand what a child's needs and abilities are. All my students have been happy with the improvement they have made while studying with me - and there isn't anything else that could make me more happy!
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that what keeps you going is the feeling that you are better today than you were the day before. I help my students to achieve it. I always do my best to make each lesson a step forward - a fun at the same time.
