Personal Description:

I started playing music at 11 years of age and I guess didn't get totally serious until I was 14-15 years old. At 17 after leaving school I joined my first band with older musicians than my self and by the time I was 20 I had released three singles and an album and had toured the UK extensively. My 20's were much the same until I realisd I was never going to be the next Hendrix and with marriage and children comes reassessment. I'm my early 30's my passion for playing my instrument and interacting with other musicians had not wained, so after much soul searching began teaching. To be honest I've never looked back. Not just teaching but other fields within music, production, session work, depping being booked as a live broadcast guitar player. We all won't to be Rock Guitar God's but to be honest earning a living playing a guitar was not something I thought was possible at 17 if you wasn't Jimmy Page or Keith Richards. I guess if your passion runs deep and you lay solid foundations early on it's like riding a bike that skill level will never leave you.

Tutoring Experience:

As well as my rosta of private pupils I've taught in secondary and junior education since 2002. Covering the Peterborough area. At one point I was teaching 12 hours a day six days a week. In all that time I've had 3 pupils go onto University to study music and countless pupils achieve grade 5 and higher, which isn't to bad for a self taught Rock/Blues guitar player.
