I am an enthusiastic and friendly young musician, a graduate of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (1st class degree), passionate about teaching music. I have started my formal music education at the age of 7 in Krakow (Poland), playing violin and piano.
In 2014, I have graduated with distinction from a Secondary Music School in Krakow and I won a school composition competition.
I am an experienced solo, chamber and orchestral musician, a winner of Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize (Birmingham, 2016) and a participant of orchestral training scheme with Birmingham Royal Ballet. I am also a keen improviser.
Over two years of teaching experience: music/ creative workshops at schools across the Midlands with the Conservatoire Learning and Participation Ensemble, working as a Student Mentor at Junior Conservatoire (instrumental/ group/ orchestral tuition), volunteering at Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (improvisation/ composition workshops - Music Maze/ ZigZag/ Creative Composing Lab), private violin and piano tutor.
Participation in teacher training: Colourstrings method, Music Fellows teacher training programme- Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra 2018.
Knowledge of other methods: Suzuki, Kodaly, eurhythmics.
Levels: beginners to advanced.
Age: 3 to adults.
I can promise an individual approach to every student. We would make a teaching plan suitable to your individual needs.
I can prepare you for the grade exams (violin, piano), help you with music theory, composition and improvisation.
I will happily work on repertoire of any genre.
