This is how 3 referees rated Maggie:
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and love to pass on the knowledge of music that I enjoy so much. I moved back to the UK to retire from full-time music teaching but still have a number of students to allow me to continue with my passion of passing on my knowledge to help others grow theirs.
I have been teaching music for 35+ years (having taken up a musical career in later life having studied music personally from the age of 5 through to taking my teaching exams).
I tutor students online for ABRSM exams for piano and music theory, and GCSE Music exams here in the UK (AQA, Eduqas and Edexcel).
I have been blessed with talents (mostly classically trained but more recently playing by ear) that I share with students of all ages and all levels.
I enjoy teaching beginner students to get them started on their musical journey.
I enjoy teaching teens to help prep for GCSE Music exams.
I also enjoy teaching older students who have more time to learn.
All student levels are enjoyable to teach and I really miss teaching when I am away from it.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching music of all kinds and look forward to meeting you soon.

Maggie’s enthusiasm shines through and I always come away from our lessons feeling inspired to do more. She’s encouraging, observes well and is very clear in her instructions and she always has a smile!
She’s an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her.
I am delighted to have Maggie as my tutor, I can't recommend her enough! :-)
With a very adaptive teaching style, Maggie has much patience, especially towards an older learner like myself. I feel like I have come on leaps and bounds even in the first four lessons, though as advised by Maggie - it must be motivated, which she certainly provides.
The first lesson, as described in her bio, were spent finding out my requirements and then we were straight in to the books / basic principles. From then on, the lessons have been structured well in order to push the boundaries, yet keep it entertaining.
I also looked to purchase my own piano for 'free time' practice and Maggie was able to provide some good knowledge on what to look for.
Maggie is pretty much everything I would have asked for in a music teacher and wish I'd had someone of that calibre at school. I would definitely recommend her to other potential students, young or old.
It's all about you though - if you weren't such a good student it would be so much harder to be your teacher! Keep up the good work.
Maggie has a very calm, soothing manner and to deal with such a beginner as my daughter I really can't recommend her enough! Also as a novice parent to the world of music lessons Maggie has given invaluable advice and support above and beyond the lesson times.
Thank you Maggie :)
I am looking forward to continuing to help her with her musical journey, to where she wants to go - the sky is the limit with her kind of enthusiasm!
Parent involvement is also key to a successful journey, so thanks for your help Michelle. Maggie :)
I am so glad that you are also taking piano lessons each week - you will be able to enhance their understanding when they are practising, so they will move along more easily with their musical journey.
