Information About Llion - Mold teacher

Personal Description:

I am currently the Head of Music at a secondary school in Cheshire, teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level Music. An approachable, friendly and enthusiastic teacher/tutor who is passionate about inspiring others with the joy of music making. Aside from classroom teaching, I teach the piano and violin and am a GCSE and A Level tutor. I can also teach music theory from Grades 1-8 and can accompany students for instrumental exams from Grades 1-8. I am a welsh speaker and happy to deliver lessons in either English or Welsh

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for 12 years and have been a Head of Department for the last 3 years. I have taught Music at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level for the past 12 years. Alongside my current job I teach piano, violin and tutor GCSE, A Level and Music Theory. I am an experienced accompanist and pianist for productions and events.

Tutoring Approach:

I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher/tutor who believes strongly in making the experience of learning about music enjoyable. My philosophy is to make each session as interactive and practical as possible and encourage my students positively to improve their skills week by week. I use a range of teaching methods to suit each individual and adapt to make lessons as interesting and active as possible.
