Personal Description:

First study pianist, second study singer. Excellent accompanying skills, accompanied many choirs, played for shows such as **Removed By Admin** and accompanied pupils in instrumental exams and GCSE and A Level exams. Musical Director of **Removed By Admin** Thoroughly enjoy singing in choirs and have sung wit**Removed By Admin**, and **Removed By Admin**#/a# who regularly perform on BBC Radio 4.

Tutoring Experience:

I am in my sixth year of teaching piano and singing lessons, with a 100% pass rate. My exam board of choice is ABRSM but have some experience with Trinity College of London. I also teach at Queen Elizabeth's Girls' School in Greater London and find the skills I have developed through classroom teaching particularly effective for individual instrumental lessons.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe it is important to begin by identifying the student's strengths and weaknesses and helping the student understand how to improve on their weaknesses. I feel it is important to encourage enjoyment of the instrument rather than focusing too heavily on doing exam after exam. Students benefit from this strategy as by enjoying playing their instrument, their passion comes across in their playing and it also improves their sight reading.
Lessons will be fun and interactive to enhance enjoyment of learning.
