Information About Lennyn - Leeds teacher

Personal Description:

I am a young musician from London who has been playing many instruments (mainly Drums, Guitar and Bass) for over 7 years now. I dedicate all my time to music as I aspire to be a Session Musician and an artist in the future. I am a student currently studying my Jazz degree at Leeds College of Music in first year 1. This course hones on our talent as musicians to become better performers, but most importantly to develop our playing as well as theoretical knowledge.

Tutoring Experience:

I have no direct teaching experience, but having done many shows the last few years with crowd sizes varying up to 400-500 people, I am confident in my playing. I also passed my ABRSM Grade 5 Musical Theory Exam in 2017, with a strong 83/100 meaning that I have a strong understanding in the theory of Music.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel like a lot of progress is done outside of the teaching hours, so I have exercises for my students prepared so that they can practice what I have just taught them between then and my next lesson. In the lessons, I will teach them helpful exercises and with help of certain tracks, I will implement these exercises into the songs so that it is a lot more fun for everybody.
