Information About Laura - Airdrie teacher - (6 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Laura:
I'm friendly, patient and passionate about music.
I have now been teaching violin, piano, keyboard and music theory for over five years. I have played the piano and violin since I was a child and have over 20 years experience of playing both instruments in a wide genre of bands, ensembles and orchestras (including rock, pop, classical and Scottish country). If they wish to I encourage my pupils to work towards Associated Board exams and to take part in twice yearly recitals.
As part of my teaching work I have successfully prepared pupils for University auditions and competitions.
I have been checked by Disclosure Scotland
I teach all age groups starting from 4 years old. I teach a good number of adult learners. Lessons are either carried out at my home or I can travel to the pupils house if that is preferred. I believe that each student is an individual and I tailor lessons to suit each individuals needs and personality. I aim to make learning fun and instill confidence in my pupils. I also have experience of teaching groups of all ages.
