Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic musician in both teaching and performance contexts with a bachelors degree in Music. My primary instrument is the trumpet, with performing experience that spans across a vast range of musical genres. I have a full DBS certificate and strive for success in my students.
Tutoring Experience:
My teaching experience spans over 3 years, teaching students of all ages and all standards on a 1:1 basis. Lessons have included tuition on the following instruments: Trumpet, Cornet, French Horn, Tuba, Tenor Horn, and Baritone Horn
I have been a conductor of 3 Brass Bands over the past 2 Years and conducted successful music workshops.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching is relaxed with clear purpose. I am approachable in character and strive for success in my students.
I have the ability to adapt my teaching method to suit the individual and cater to the needs and requirements they may have.
I push my students to perform to the best of their abilities, and ask for nothing more than dedication to individual practice.
