Information About Katie - Bath teacher

Personal Description:

I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma and Masters in Music Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, having previously completed a BMus in Music Performance at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama with 1st Class Honours in Dublin in 2015.

Throughout my studies I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching. My musical experiences over the years range from:

- Working in schools in Dublin teaching Flute, Recorder, Classical guitar, Piano, Music Theory and Pre-instrumental classes
- Teaching students privately around Manchester from beginner to advanced
- Playing with professional orchestras such as RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Camerata Ireland and side-by-side opportunities with Northern Ballet and Manchester Camerata

- Leading outreach workshops in schools, most notably 'Tuning Up' outreach programme with West Cork Music

- Playing regular solo and chamber concerts in venues such as Wigmore Hall and the Bridgewater Hall

I will travel to give lessons. (usually £5 for transport)

My approach to music tuition can cater to whatever the student wants to achieve. I feel my wide range of experiences gives me the ability to teach students who just want to play to fun or those who want to take it to the next level.
