My Approach to teaching and playing the violin has greatly been inspired by my mentor, teacher and soloist Professor Boris Brovtsyn who introduced me to a way of playing which is free and expressive. I am keen to work towards examination with the student if they wish to or concerts and recitals, or just casual enjoyment. I would use encouragement, patience and understanding to build confidence, develop their self-expression enable the student whether young or an adult learner to achieve their goals and above all to enjoy our lessons together.
