Personal Description:
Music has been my life as I was brought up in a very musical family and started learning from the age of 4. After gaining diploma's in both flute and piano I decided to study classical flute at Birmingham Conservatoire and graduated in 2014.
I have studied under some notable names including, Maria-Christine Zupancic (Principle Flute City Birmingham Symphony Orchestra), Judith Hall (Renowned Soloist, Principle Flute Royal Opera House Convert Gardens) and Michael Cox (Principle flute BBC Symphony Orchestra).
I started doing professional work at the age of 14 performing in anything from a large symphony orchestra to a small jazz trio and have gained a large knowledge and experience of all genres.
Tutoring Experience:
I have spent a couple of years teaching in a primary school in Somerset which I enjoyed teaching both group and single students.
I have also taught a number of older students privately ranging from near beginners to diploma standard.
Tutoring Approach:
I am an enthusiastic teacher who puts fun and enjoyment into lessons.
I use flexible teaching approaches, tailored to your needs, with an emphasis on fundamental technique, musicianship, and sharing the love of music.

I am enjoying your lessons very much, as you know. I hope you can put up with my bad music for 1.5 hours at a time and continue giving me lessons for a while to come. It's great you can be flexible with lesson times also.
