Still relatively new to Sheffield, I've made my living teaching ukulele in schools and one-to-one since 2011. Whether you want to start from scratch (I teach from age 5 up), improve a particular aspect of your playing or learn specific songs, I'm always happy to help.
In Sheffield I currently teach ukulele at Bradway Primary School and Totley Primary School. Schools in Surrey include Fitznells Music Centre, Banstead Community Junior School, Epsom Primary School, West Ewell Primary School and Ewell Castle School. I have taught in individual, pairs, small group, workshop, after-school club, classroom and social club settings and I'm always keen to bring the ukulele into new contexts - get in touch and I'll see what I can do.
Lessons are always tailored to each individual learner's needs, and I frequently make my own arrangements on request. The ukulele is great for youngsters who might struggle with the size of a guitar, but want to learn all the relevant techniques and music-reading skills. I can give a strong basis in Music Theory, having taught the ABRSM Theory syllabus many times, or work on a more casual basis depending on what you prefer.
